Over the past 6 months or so, I have been running into a bunch of issues with deliverability using SparkPost (to no fault of Inbound Now), so I have moved most of my processes back to Mandrill – as they have also had the best deliverability and features.
Is it possible to use Mandrill with Inbound Now? Even if reports/stats are not directly displayed on my WordPress dashboard? OR even the possibility to remove the SparkPost sending, so I can use – https://wordpress.org/plugins/send-emails-with-mandrill/ – to send all my WordPress site emails. NOTE – I use this plugin for all my non-Inbound Now emails already.
SparkPost hasn’t been any help with addressing my deliverability issues, only telling me to upgrade my plan… Oddly enough, the issues coincided with them reducing their free tier size and service.
Actually no, not unless a customer is willing to fund development. Unfortunately Inbound Now has maxed out in size and it’s financial structure is not friendly to new revenue-funded investment.
I’d love to see it done, I just personally can’t afford to implement or maintain more components. I’d love to gut many pre-existing components too but can’t without interrupting others. Personally I’m stuck at a cross roads with Inbound Now and may be forced to shut it down until I can rebuild it under a new domain/business-relationship, which is very hard to find the time to do. Or keep letting it ride as the solid, yet not perfect version of itself while using what little profit it makes to cover my administration costs. It’s a pickle!
