Me again, with a P.S. So frustrated with inability to edit code – and a deadline – I reloaded the 1.9.2 so I could save in Text pane. To do so, I changed name of updated plugin to “landing-pages-new” in File Manager, Plugins.
Good news: I could add the missing code , save it and the link worked.
Bad news: Weird stuff is happening…no matter how many times I insert the correct code and save it at the bottom of the page, the Buy button will NOT align. See Landing Page Different versions seem to show at different times as well. AGH!
The code is correctly saved, but it just doesn’t show correctly. Both themes and plugins have been checked as per your suggestions before doing any of this.
So can you help? This page is the centrepiece of our whole email sales campaign going out Tuesday.
Thanks for any help,

Let’s see if I can help. It looks like you have landing page rotation enabled by having an A version and a B version.
When logged in caching is disabled (if you have a caching plugin), so most likely non-logged in users are seeing a cached version, instead of rotating, while if you view the page logged in the variations should rotate.
I looked at your two version, A and B.
In B the button shows:
In A there is a strange problem that causes the button not to show. I do not know what the problem is right now but confirm it’s there:
What I would do is test to see why variation B button shows, and why A doesn’t. Any clues?
This article might help you disable caching on landing pages. Surely you can add a
go/*string to your “exceptions” setting in your caching plugin.August 11, 2018 at 1:54 pm #133486August 13, 2018 at 5:03 am #133489August 13, 2018 at 3:36 pm #133490
P.S.2 I investigated our caching plugin, WP SuperCache. Although it is activated, when I checked settings, “turn on caching” was not checked. I really wasn’t sure what to do with the settings. I checked a couple of items in Advanced that looked promising, but it made no difference
Don’t cache pages for known users. (Recommended)
Compress pages so they’re served more quickly to visitors. (Recommended)
Cache HTTP headers with page content.
Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated.
Weird behaviour continues. Now there’s an extra checkmark before the “You get:” list. I had removed it Saturday, but now it’s back and I don’t know why.
Am holding off on sending tomorrow’s sales campaign until we can get it figured out. Sure hope you can grab some time now your busy week has started!

Not sure you got message below this paragraph..I’d replied to your email instead of coming here! I can’t figure out why you can’t log in. You’re set as an admin and it works for me. Does it work if you type in the address instead of copying and pasting? Guess that’s a dumb suggestion. Is there anything I can do here to get you in?
Email from yesterday…
Wanted to let you know I found a workaround to get today’s (well, it will be
tomorrow’s now) offer out.
That will let us work away at the landing page fix with less pressure. I did
notice you were replying close to midnight the last time!!
So take a look at what’s going on WHEN you have time. I’m okay for the
immediate future…and I am looking forward to figuring out – with you – the
Thanks so much for all you’ve done to help and to respond to my franticness!
You are – and always have been – wonderfully responsive.
