    Hi,

I’m trying to understand your application …

Can I configure it to send mass newsletter with my own SMTP server? Can I include call to action in the newsletter directly?
    Can I make newsletter groups?

Thank you very much, your plugin looks wonderful!

    Hi Grégoire,

Thank you again for the contact and the kind words!

You unfortunately cannot configure our email component with SMTP. We depend on the 3rd party transactional provider SparkPost to power our emails. In the future if resources permit we’ll add our own email tracking handlers, as well as other 3rd party email services.

You could insert call to action shortcode directly into an email template, I believe as long as it was a link based call to action. Forms should not go into email addresses they will not work.

You can have “Lead Lists” which are the same as newsletter groups.

    Kind regards,
    Hudson Atwell

    Hi Hudson,

Thank you for answering me so quickly, it is very appreciated!

Can I use the tools of your plugin in the e-mails of Mailpoet? For example call to action?
To be integrated into an email, do you have any information on the subject? I just want to understand your e-mail before embarking with you! Thank you !

thank you very much Hudson !

    Hi,

These docs will help build an idea of a few ways our email component can be leveraged.

I am not sure if our Call to Action shortcodes work with MailPoet. I imagine they would, but I’ve not personally tested. Link based CTAs should. Form based CTAs will not.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Hudson,

If I understand correctly, I will not have all the functionality of your plugin with Mailpoet? Is that correct?

    Thank’s

    Hi Grégoire,

Yes cthat is correct. Forms cannot be used in MailPoet emails. Or Inbound Now emails if you are using our email feature.

    I’m open to new/rephrased questions.

    Cheers!
