New website. When creating a rule to send mail to new lead on creation I’m seeing the Terms of Service get delivered instead of the mail I created. The same applies to the follow-up email I have set to deliver to the same list after waiting 15min.

the first thing I would try is a manual email test from the email edit area.
The next thing I would do is head into whatever caching implementation you’ve setup on the site and make sure URLS with mail/ are not cached. It could be a caching issue, most likely is.
Not sure why an email permalink would redirect to TOS. Have you checked the browser ready version of the email?March 25, 2019 at 2:18 pm #134800
Getting this on two completely new websites who’s Inbound Now setups use the WordPress (BETA) option instead of Sparkpost. Since you have this in place as a Mail Service option is there any way to confirm if this is what’s causing the issue? I do get the emails proving that this option works. I’m not sure I understand.
Reveieced emails are only wrong if WordPress is selected as the sending service, and if you switch it to SparkPost the issue resolves?March 25, 2019 at 3:02 pm #134804
Just to confirm, test emails have the correct content, but automated emails do not have the correct content?
Also did you look into caching?
When you preview the email in the browser does the correct email content show?
I don’t think that having WordPress as a service would change the HTML content of the email. But not saying it’s not possible. I try not to rule anything out until I have clear vision on what’s happening.

Created sending domain in SparkPost for this website.
Changed the settings within Inbound Now:
Default From Name
Hemp For The American Veteran
Default From Email
Default Reply Email
Changed settings in email.
Subscribed to the list and in the first of 3 emails I got the same Terms & Conditions.

It seems that there is a popup requiring users to accept terms and conditions before viewing content and this popup HTML is being included in the email that is sent.
Does the plugin/theme that requires users to accept TOS have an exceptions setting that we can add URLS with /email/ inside the permalink to?March 25, 2019 at 8:51 pm #134809
1. I’m using double opt-in but not sure if this is what you’re referring to.
2. This theme is an intranet which allows me to hide pages & functionality from visitors. I can manually allow pages to be accessed but not URL’s.

I don’t think this is related to double optin. I think it’s related to a feature that makes users confirm the TOS before viewing the page, and this is being added into our email HTML when we generate them.

Checked and that email isn’t viewable publically and directs you to the login window, but not the TOS. Guessing that since the majority of the website is locked the emails may also be locked? What’s odd is that I get the Thank You, Confirm Subscription, and password reset emails. New lead notification email, confirm/reset password, double-optin email are all powered by a different method. Automated emails we create manually depend on the system generating the page and copying the HTML from the generated page.
