I would like to investigate the cost of adding a feature to pull in the complete text of a direct email to the editor window on the leads screen. This would allow me to make customized edits to them before sending.
There are many “template” plugins available for WP that can pull in post content to the built in WP editor and maybe accommodating one of them would provide a more cost effective solution. Either way, I would like to get an idea of the cost to implement this feature.
Just rehashing alongside you, so you would like the ability to select an automation email template and edit it before it goes out?
It sounds like we’d need to save the email as draft and then open it up to being edited before it’s sent. There is a issue though. We can’t edit from directly within the lead profile. We’d have to have a button like ‘create direct message’ when a template is selected, and after that button is pressed it launches an email edit screen.
Something like this could take 5-7 hours. If you’re willing to finance we can create a Codeable project and I can invite my colleague Matt Bissett to work the project for you. We could probably see a 7 day day turn around.
If you like I’ll prepare a link to start a project correspondence. We can get a quote in place and decide to move forward if you become ready.
All I would need is an existing plugin like this https://www.advancedcontenttemplates.com/ to show up on the lead profile screen so I could pull from pre-existing WP posts. Not sure if that would be a more cost effective solution.
The 3rd party integration would take more hours and be more expensive. It would be cheaper to work directly with the email templates we create within our Mail Components.
Custom email templates can be created if none of the ones present are to liking. It would take labor hours to build new template formats. Just saying it’s possible. We built the email as a component similar to Landing Pages, which can also be custom built.
Use this link to open a project with Matt. You’re welcome to add me as a preferred developer too so I can monitor the job before hiring (and comment):
