Our SEO consultant has advised us that using a 302 redirect in our CTA is hurting our onpage SEO. Is it possible to make the link in your CTAs a direct link? I understand that this will remove some (or all?) of the tracking functionality. But we feel that the on page SEO is more important.
I also saw the previous support item about removing the nofollow instruction -we’d also like to do that but after making the CTA a direct link if possible.
It will make it a direct link, there would be no 302, but conversion tracking would be disabled on that CTA. The clicks will also not be recorded in the lead profile, if the visitor has one and is being tracked.
