Hi sorry for the delay I missed the email for this one.
See attached – seems that not all filter options are available nor are all the fields
Seems that fields are populated with data from previous lead
Whichever trigger you are using, the filter key dropdown will show the last data that went through the trigger hook. Also triggers have to be fired to build what keys should be available.
Given the attached document if you wanted to only apply a rule to EDD purchases who’s lead recently viewed page 545 then you would set the key “page_views” to “contains” 545 (or to be more specific, enclose 545 in quotations like “545”. Notice that the page_views key shows a JSON formatted blob of page_view data beside it. It’s tricky, but it works.
I also saw that the purchase data key was empty. Simulating a purchase should cause this filter key dropdown list to populate.
For EDD purchases, what data are you hoping to find?
If you share with me the logic of the rule you’re trying to create I’ll check and see if it’s possible and advise.
Also there’s not a way to retroactively apply a rule to an edd purchase, but it’s possible one could be developed. After we solve the current issues we can bring the topic back up and look into it.
Seems that the all of the EDD fields are now showing as conditions and I seem to have gotten it to work – hooray
I have a few other bugs in some other areas but will contact you later on those
Will let you know if I need anything else in regards to this issue
BTW – as a work around for retrospective emails I was thinking of creating a new list and adding subscribers to it and once they were added the email would trigger based on being made a member of the new list
The rule looks good.It should work and only target leads with that download id inside the shopping cart.
To confirm you could run a mock checkout without that download in the cart and then check the automation logs for an event with the name “Trigger Fired”, and then press the + button to view the debug logs. It should show the result of the filter evaluation and show that it’s been blocked if it did not meet the filter criteria.
