Hello! Im trying to get automation to work : (
I have unchecked defer processing (that had be stumped for a bit)
I get an email saying the lead has been created and I can send myself a test email but the automation never sends an email.
in the log it just says
Log ID Log Title Log Date Task ID Log Type Expand
2 Process Immediately 2019-02-21 12:41:36 – trigger_event +/-
1 Scheduling Job 2019-02-21 12:41:36 – schedule_event +/-
0 Trigger Fired 2019-02-21 12:41:36 – trigger_event +/-
There is just a dash when i expand the process. what am i missing?

note: if i use the “Form Setup to send a Follow Up Email” it works.
but i am obviously missing something

Have you confirmed that the automated email sends correctly by sending a test email?
I’d run this routine to make sure all the email database tables for email/automation are correctly and then try testing the rule again:
In your Automation logs, do you have an action event that says ‘Send Email/Email Sent’? If you do will you expand the log and take a screenshot of it’s contents?
It’s just a dash? Haven’t seen that before. Maybe it is a database table issue and the above advise will correct it.
With ‘Form Setup to send a Follow Up Email’ are you writing a custom email in the WYSIWYG editor or selecting to send using a pre-crafted automation email?

Hello! Yes the test email works perfectly, In fact it sends an email as it should If I use the “Set Email Response” option from within the Form. this would be fine but I want the automation working properly so I can send strings of emails.
As of this morning no matter which email template i use (yours or mine) they always show up blank, if you send a test email or just preview it. all the ones I made yesterday are still working properly. if I clone one I made yesterday it also works properly. ARGG! How can I give you access to take a look?
I have tried reinstalling all your default email templates but some of them dont even show the box you put the text in when you go to edit and when i send a test email its just the design and no text : (((

hmm okay, solved the template issue by saving the email editor page then reopening it.
I also have a fully working automation chain from landing page to email so lets just assume all is well today and your suggested database repair solved the problem!

This is odd though.. No idea what has happened here. I have replaced it with the version straight from your installer zip. I don’t need it but it is odd.

I’m not sure why the email fields are not showing up either. What template are you using? We might can look to see if there are JS errors:

This is using your default template, i forget the name but you can see its thumbnail in the stop right of this pic.
also showing java console. what to try next? The template i made myself is working so this is not urgent but I’m happy to work through it if you would like to try and sort it

I think I know what might be going on.
Inbound PRO ships with ACF PRO for subscribers. I bet your site has ACF free activated. If this is the case then please disable it and head into Wp-admin->Inbound PRO->Settings and make sure ACF Lite Mode is turned off.

Another note on the issue above, I’ve noticed if i complete the test5 landing page from a incognito window in chrome, even the first email says hello subscriber rather than the correct name
