Thanks for the new functionality in the woocommerce plugin, so purchases are logged for leads. Now it would be perfect time to integrate also the following that I asked you about a month ago:
– a feature to stop the rest of the planned mails in the automation sequence when a lead makes a purchase with woocommerce, so the rest of the mails in the sequence are cancelled.
It is kind of not done in inbound marketing to keep on mailing your leads when they already made a purchase. The ongoing marketing automation after the purchase makes customers think of us as spammers. The whole effort of inbound marketing is the difference between marketing spam and friendly personal marketing. That’s why I think this feature is a must for good inbound marketing software.
Thanks in advance for incorporating this feature!

I will try to get both of these in soon.
I am already currently working on an automation action that can discover and kill all email series tasks related to a lead. But I’ll have to add in WooCommerce sale as a trigger.
Hopefully it won’t be too long.February 9, 2017 at 9:36 am #126826
That’s good news, hope to hear from you soon!

“I am already currently working on an automation action that can discover and kill all email series tasks related to a lead. ”
I completed this yesterday, but the woocommerce trigger still needs to be developed and tested.
Will keep you updated.February 13, 2017 at 1:37 pm #126950
I saw in your newsletter that the Woocommerce trigger has been developed? But I don’t see any option to activate or deactivate unsubscribing from lists when a purchase is made.

I haven’t developed in the WooCommerce Trigger yet.
That is on my next to do list. Custom service has been heavy the last couple of days though so I’ve not had much time to develop.February 14, 2017 at 5:02 pm #127010
Okay WooCommerce update is launched.February 15, 2017 at 8:13 am #127029
Great! Thanks a million 🙂
I still have some problems in woocommerce layout, but will post that on the relevant forum.

I still have issues wih this subject. Today I got a mail from this lead: Marian van Brussel. She is complaining that she is still getting mails though she already subscribed to a course. Now I see in the lead list that she bought a course for €190, but still WC Purchases = 0. I have noticed this behaviour before and I thought it is because the payment wasn’t made yet so the order is still not confirmed. But this is not the case, the payment has been processed and the status is completed.
Also I don’t see any link anywhere to manually unsubscribe the lead from future marketing automation mails. It would be nice to have that possibility on the edit lead page.
Thanks in advance for your reply!

I’ll do a review of the system and see what I can do to find bugs / improve the setup.
I’m not certain why the 190 did not get recorded. Will have to look over those too.March 2, 2017 at 1:36 am #127879
Ok, hope it gets solved soon…March 2, 2017 at 1:38 pm #127914
It will take a little longer on WooCommerce evaluation, will you keep an eye out for repeat occurances?
I do have improved code on the automation/unsubscribe front as well as an option to permantly mute a lead from further automation emails from within the lead profile ready for the next release I hope to have out next week.March 6, 2017 at 9:23 am #128028
Ok I am looking forward for the woocommerce evaluation and the new release for woocommerce plugin!

Are you spotting any more instances where WC sales are not recorded?March 7, 2017 at 2:23 am #128058
Yes, it’s more the rule than exception that a WC purchase is not recorded. That means, the amount spent is recorded, but not recorded in WC purchases column in the lead profile. These are some leads where you can spot this behaviour of Inbound pro:
Marian van Brussel
Or more exactly: every lead with some amount spent recorded has no recorded WC purchase.
